Sharon Lawrence Bio

Before becoming a professional actress Sharon had a successful career in PR and Advertising, followed by a few years living and working in America.  Upon her return, she pursued her dream of becoming a professional actress.  Sharon trained at Rose Bruford College and is now a regular practitioner at the college, running lectures for the students.

Sharon has since gone on to work on many independent films and commercials. One of the very first films she worked on 'Victims' was screened at 'Raindance Film Festival' and went on to win awards at various US Festivals.  A short film where Sharon had a lead role 'Mano a Mono, premiered at Cannes in 2015 and has since gone on to win many awards, including a nomination for 'Best Actress' at the Maverick Movie Awards in 2016.   Recently, Sharon has won 'Best Actress in a Movie Scene' from 'I AM Film Awards' and has been nominated for an award at the London Festival in 2019, along with winning British Actress of the Month in December 2017 by The British Filmmakers Alliance.

Sharon continues to see a steady stream of work and is excited to be in pre-production on a number of features and shorts this year - please see 'News' for more information.
